I placed an order for a Kindle on 4/28/2014 and received it, then in November there was issues with it not charging so it was replaced with a refurbished model. This model is now having the same issues. I contacted Amazon on 04/04/2015 via chat and the rep I spoke with was going to get it replaced and confirmed that it was still under warranty, but the chat was disconnected before she could complete the process. I then chatted with another rep today who now says that the warranty has expired. I know this is not true because it was under a year warranty, which will not expire until 4/28/2015. I want the Kindle replaced at no cost to me as the warranty states. The only thing they offered is for me to purchase a new Kindle and then they will refund the charge. This is not acceptable,I don't have money to just purchase a new Kindle.Even with it being refunded later, that is a process and will take some time even if I could afford to do so.
