We stayed at the Melia Caribe Tropical in the Dominican Republic. They are complete frauds filled with lies. What they tell you and show you in person is not what your membership benefits say and what the contract says. On our last day we had to go to the sales office and ask for a copy of all the paperwork and the contract itself to read and keep for records. My husband and I purchased with Vida Vacations Club-Bliss Resorts in Mexico and have now found out with the help of family members that we were given two contracts, one for 10 years and one contract for 100 years. We have now discovered that the contract for 100 years does not have a authorization number with Profeco and all contracts have to be registered with Profeco before being sold.
