Received unsolicited phone call about a loan I did not ask for. They followed up with loan paperwork, for which they said I filled out an application for, which I did not. This load included my social security number and a full credit report. This either a SCAM or an attempt to steal my identity or both.

Peoples had incorrect paperwork, delays in service, and have refused to talk to us after closing on the house. I have sent emails with no response. We worked with Peoples for our mortgage. On the closing day, April 29th, the paperwork was late, after having spoken to the agent who told me it would be on time, then the paperwork was incorrect, with a down payment cost of 3%, instead of 5%. My mortgage was sold to NationStar from Bank of America. I had an approved modification but Nationstar has not put it into affect. I have called several times over the last 2 months and I continue to hear that the modification must be reviewed and will be accepted within a week or two. Nationstar had my mortgage transferred to them, but they have totally botched the transition, and are now harassing me. Bank of America transferred my mortgage to Nationstar effective May 1, but Nationstar failed to provide timely notification to me, which they have verbally admitted. I was told we qualified for HARP in Oct 2012 went through 4 customer service reps and we still have not closed on refinance.
